About the event
The Circular Economy Collage is a stimulating, interactive workshop based on scientific and institutional knowledge. Inspired by the Climate Fresk, it uses collective intelligence to help participants understand the limits of today’s global linear economy and explore the opportunities offered by the circular economy.
During the workshop, you will explore the challenges and risks associated with the linear production–consumption–waste system, including extractivism, resource use and waste generation. You will also discover a broad range of circular strategies, going beyond recycling and identifying practical levers and opportunities for change.
Through collaborative work and the exchange of different perspectives, you will:
• develop a clearer understanding of key circular economy concepts and systems thinking
• explore the environmental and systemic consequences of our current economic model
• discover practical examples and strategies for using resources more efficiently and reducing waste
• gain inspiration and motivation to contribute to the transition towards a more circular economy
The workshop is based on trusted scientific and institutional sources, including: IPCC, ADEME, UNEP, IPBES, CGR and circular economy models reflected in the ISO 59000 standards.
The 3-hour online workshop takes place in a small, diverse group of 8 participants. It is open to everyone, regardless of prior knowledge or experience with circular economy. The only requirement is a curiosity about sustainability and the way our economy works.
You will leave the workshop better informed, more aware of the challenges we face and equipped with practical ideas for action.
